The University of Szeged (Szegedi Tudományegyetem, or also known as SZTE) is a prestigious institution in Hungary, where study fields of all walks of scientific life are represented in 12 faculties and the Teacher Training Centre. Nurse BSc

About the Programme

Nurse programme provides theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing science. The programme is to encompass all aspects of care, additionally provides courses on subjects such as psychological care, nursing research, nursing management and counselling.IMG_3911

During the study period students acquire the theoretical knowledge in lectures and demonstrational classroom practices. At the end of the second year they start their clinical practices. Field practices play a significant role in deepening the acquired professional skills. The last two semesters consist of mainly field practices in clinics.

The nursing degree acquired in our institution is equivalent to degrees earned in other EU countries.

Who should apply?

The programme is dedicated to students who plan to pursue a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Nursing in English by completing this four year long course.

Application requirements: Submitted online application form; Secondary school certificate, a demonstrated proficiency in English (B2 level or equivalent TOEIC, TOEFL IBT, TOEFL PBT, TOEFL CBT, IELTS).

A written entrance examination and a motivational conversation.

Start of the programme: September of each year

Physiotherapist BSc

About the Programme

Physiotherapy is a very popular and highly sought-after profession worldwide. Physiotherapists can work in prevention, health care and rehabilitation fields.IMG_3915

The program is based on 7+1 semesters: the 1-4th semesters beside others consist of basic subjects, professional theory and practice. The 5-7th semesters include applied clinical physiotherapy knowledge and the last semester consists of different supervised clinical placements for developing professional skills. Being a practice-oriented profession the practical courses take place in small groups. During the study time students have the opportunity to get acquainted with special complex therapeutic methods.
